I've tried to retain my sanity for the past few days, but it doesn't seem to be working....I've gotten farther on my college. I have an idea for an essay which is awesome and will tie in really well with all the other stuff i've done.  The SATs are coming up and they hold a little more consequence now, than they did in the past, because the implications of not getting a good score, might just be my future...no pressure at all.  I just came to a realization, about five minutes ago, that school sucks. Its awesome hanging out with my friends, but over 70% of what you learn, you'll never apply again in the real world.

I'm planning on starting with the McKaskil campaign after the SATs are over, so that I can devote enough time without compromising my future [see above analysis].  Life, aside from a few tangetial distractions has been pretty good, and I hope it stays that way...

i'm going to bed now,
good night

Alright, I found this really odd site....It was created by some kid that goes to Exter Academy (for those of you who don't know what that is, well its a really rich private school that sends ten million kids to Ivy League schools every year.  For example, the dude who created FACEBOOK, Marc Zuckerburg, went to Exter and then went to Harvard and now is the proprietor of a multi-billion dollar stalking tool) The site is essentially devoted to this kid's life and how he wants to get into college really bad.  He states his prospective schools, his stats, etc...But the greatest function of the site is that it reaffirms his status as an Anti-social Nerd (Seriously, any kid that is willing to devote his life to a boarding school for 4 years, is kinda nerdy) Let me qualify why I think he's a nerd:
    1. We all know that college is imminent, why would you create a site about it?
    2. In his posts he talks about everything from Yale University's Marketing campaign, to You tube, c'mon really, do something better with your time.
    3. He makes his money from google ads!

Thats my little bit of useless spiel--

Today, I didn't really do much.  Took a couple of tests at school, learned some stuff and ate.  I had intended on going to the girls tennis match, but overlooked the fact that I needed to take my brother to Karate class.  So, that was a bust.  After I did extricate myself from familial commitments, I tried to call up some people to play tennis, but apparently 7:00pm is the universally accepted time for homework. Why didn't I get the memo? So, tennis didn't happen either.  Next, I decided, "what the heck, I'll conform to society" and started doing calculus for my test tomorrow, but that plan was precluded by john's arrival.  I tried and tried, but seriously, when John's around, calculus isn't very inviting (Although I did try not to get distracted).  While I was busy, NOT doing Calculus, I emailed my esteemed MIT Interviewer.  That was a painful process because I had to ensure that I did't make even the most infintismal mistake, as that could create preconcieved notions about my intelligence in the guy's head (See at MIT, if you're stupid, it's considered a bad thing ;] )

Nothing really constructive happened today, so I am going to leave now. But there is this ubiquitous belief that MIT is a nerdy school, and let me dispell that once and for all, IT IS NOT!!!!!

Peace,

It seems that my life is less convoluted for the time being! Don't worry, the forces that bring about the confusion are by no means sedentary, just a little tired.  Anyways, I played tennis for about 5 hours in the last two days, winning my first match 6-3,6-3.  The second match I wasn't able to finish, but the score currently is 1 set all, 5-7, 7-6(5).  While we're still discussing tennis, the zenith of my day came from watching the US Open, when Roger "The boss" Federer killed Andy "loser man" Roddick!  It was an amazing display of tennis, even worthy of praise from the infamous John McEnroe.

Academically, things have settled down.  I managed to create a list of the colleges I am planning on applying to in the Regular Decision round, each of which I would be happy to matriculate to.  However, the ideal situation would be getting accepted to MIT on December 15th, and having liberty in my last semester of high school.

I haven't really pursued the whole McKaskil Internship yet, but plan on doing so.  My right now is devoted almost exclusively to School, Tennis and Debate with my extracurriculars recieving an infinitetismal amount whenever it is available.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, we got a cat! His name is spots (that was his name when we got him).  Really awesome little guy.  He isn't introverted at all, contrary to the stigma cats have put on them.

Well, G2g sleep!
bye

Supposedly George Bush landed in Kansas City today to help raise money for the Jim Talent campaign, thus reaffirming two things:

1. the Talent and McKaskil Race is probably the most important senate race in the country
2. Republicans stick together!

While we're on the issue of politics, I am delighted to tell you that I am being considered as an intern for the McKaskil campaign!!! Yeah! It should be a pretty good experience if I get the internship.  Today was pretty uneventful, aside from well, nothing. I think I am going to watch a movie (The Sentinel --- you should see it, its good).  Debate is kinda horrible right now, primarily due to the fact that our 1AC is horrible, and I think we're going to write a new one.  Aside from that, nothing new, I am going to go now, really not feeling all that great.

ummm

So, it seems that not a day goes by that I don't end up doing something stupid!  I am not going to go into detail, but I assure you, that the former claim is true. Anyways, I spent my day, committed to the clandestine confines of my room, aside from a short trip to Corner Cafe.  I played some tennis, and thats about it.
